Tidy Abode is a private practice. Every Curator is a fully vetted, background-checked, and bonded professional. You are not unlocking your door for a stranger; you are welcoming a dedicated specialist who is accountable to our Tidy Abode Standard.

Consistency is our baseline. You are assigned a dedicated primary Curator, supported by a fully briefed secondary team. This ensures that even if your primary Curator is on rotation, you always receive the exact same Tidy Abode standard from a professional who knows your home by heart.

Yes. This is non-negotiable.
We operate with comprehensive commercial coverage, including $3,000,000 in liability and $25,000 in bonding to protect your physical assets.
Uniquely, we also carry a $100,000 Cyber Security Policy. This ensures that your digital privacy—including smart lock codes, alarm data, and personal information—is protected with the same rigor as your home.

Absolute transparency is a pillar of our service. As a member, you have full access to the data of your home — including completed checklists, curator notes, and timestamped data from every visit. To access, simply request a data export from your curator or email concierge@tidyabode.ca and we will release your latest data within 24 hours.

Condos are where we are starting because they're the most underserved. Condo residents have unique constraints: shared spaces, building access, specific rules — and most cleaning companies treat them the same as any other home. We don't. Our entire system is built around condo living. As we grow, that may change. For now, this is where we do our best work. Condo living is sold as a lifestyle. We're the system that actually delivers it.

We don't offer one-time cleanings. Our membership model exists so we can learn your home, your preferences, and your standards — that's what allows us to deliver a service that's proactive, not transactional. If you're looking for a one-time clean, we're happy to recommend trusted businesses that can accommodate you.

We are built for your busy life, so we've built our policy on partnership.
Changes Outside 24 Hours: You can reschedule or skip a visit any time before the 24-hour mark, free of charge.
Cancellations Inside 24 Hours: If you must cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your visit, a $100 Reserved Slot Fee will apply. This policy is essential for protecting the dedicated time your Curator has reserved exclusively for your home.
Our Grace Pass: We are partners, not robots. We understand that true emergencies happen. That's why every Tidy Abode member automatically receives one grace pass per quarter to waive this fee, no questions asked.

There is no lock-in contract. We believe we should earn your membership with every single visit. You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time; we simply ask for 48 hours' notice prior to your next scheduled arrival.

We offer a stowaway credit for our members. We can easily adapt your membership to focus on home monitoring and maintenance rather than cleaning, ensuring your residence is cared for according to your specific needs while you are away. Please contact your Curator or concierge@tidyabode.ca to discuss a travel plan.

Membership begins with Calibration, a full first visit, in person. Your ongoing service starts the week after, on the cadence you've chosen. The Calibration is your entry. Everything after is your membership.

You have seven days after your Calibration to decide. If it's not right for you, send a note and we'll part ways. No questions, no friction. After seven days, your membership is active.

No. Tidy Abode is by application. We evaluate fit, building, and availability before extending membership. The work depends on knowing each home and each member personally, and we maintain capacity per Curator deliberately. Some applications we accept. Some we don't. Some we hold for capacity to open.

Because we maintain the home. We don't catch it up. The Calibration brings your home to a baseline so every visit after is care, not recovery. It's also where we learn how you live, what you value, and what makes your home yours.

This is your seasonal clean. We've eliminated the need for a massive, disruptive deep clean by integrating those tasks (like baseboards, grout, and fridge interiors) into your regular visits on a rotating basis. Your home is always being proactively deep-cleaned.

Precision is our promise. If a visit ever falls short of standards, simply notify us within 24 hours. We will return to correct the specific area at no cost. We do not just clean; we take full accountability for the result.

We don't process personal laundry unless arranged with your curator, and we don't move furniture that's damaged, fragile, or unstable, or appliances built into cabinetry. Beyond that, inclusions are tailored to your home during onboarding. If something isn't covered, we'll tell you; and if it's something you need, we'll find a way to make it work.

No. Our members are typically busy people. Most clients provide a concierge code or digital access, which we manage with encrypted security. Our goal is for you to leave a busy home and return to a tidy home.

No. We are fully autonomous. We bring our own curated selection of cleaning solutions and equipment. Unless you have a specific request noted in your Dossier, you never need to worry about stocking supplies for us.

Billing is automatic to your card on file. Receipts are sent digitally for your records. Beyond that, you don't think about it. The financial side of your membership should be as tidy as your home.

We bill at the start of each service month, not after. Your membership covers more than the time we spend in your home, it covers the preparation before we arrive. Learning your preferences, stocking the right supplies, and reserving your dedicated team member's schedule. When we step through your door, we're already ready.
